Black Ops Hardened and Prestige Editions Announced

12 Aug

It was only a matter of time before the Collectors editions were announce for this game which is topping the charts for pre-orders compared to it’s previous installments.

If you remember, MW2 came with fully functional night vision goggles with it’s Prestige Edition. Here’s what you can expect from the Black Ops Prestige bundle.

via GameStop

  • RC-XD Video Surveillance Vehicle
    • Fully custom RC vehicle modeled after in-game RC-XD Killstreak Reward
    • Video camera to send wireless video to Transmitter
    • Microphone to send wireless audio to Transmitter
    • Digital proportional steering and throttle
    • Independent suspension
    • Display stand
  • RC-XD Transmitter
    • 2” backlit TFT 220 x176 color screen to receive video from car
    • Integrated speaker to receive audio from car
    • Custom pistol grip style RC controller
    • High and low speed settings
    • Up to 200ft control range
  • Includes the full Call of Duty: Black Ops Hardened Edition
    • Limited edition Black Ops Collector’s Medal w/display case
    • 4 extra playable co-op maps not in the standard edition
    • Black Ops Xbox Live avatar outfit
    • Premium, special-edition SteelBook™ case
    • Call of Duty: Black Ops full game

That’s right people you are all set to play super spy now with your MW2 night vision goggles and your RC-XD. Not gunna lie but that RC looks pretty sweet. But I did say the same about the MW2 goggles and I was able to abstain from getting them. instead I went halfway and got the Hardened Edition. So we shall see if I can resist temptation a second time.

I’m getting the Prestige Edition for sure this times, since financial situations are looking better and who wouldn’t want an RC in-game replica car with a camera (and Audio) in it?

Very awesome Prestige edition. I still cant justify spending $150 though. Ill stick to the Hardened like i did with MW2. Hopefully this $80 is worth it though. I still to this day dislike MW2.

Resistance is futile! Happily supporting Treyarch/Activision this go-around. Prestige Edition.
