Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction demo arrives today on Xbox Live. Whether you’re an avid fan of the series or just love stealth action games, I recommend giving it a try.
Now I’m not a huge fan of stealth, I prefer a good face to face run and gun game but I gave this demo a shot. The first thing I learned was to not ignore the fact that this is a STEALTH game and should be played as such. If you can’t keep your gun quiet than stick to MW2 and BFBC2.
Anyway here are the basic facts about the upcoming game…
This is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell series and is due to release on April 13th in North America. One of the new game features in this sequel is “mark and execute”. It takes playing 5 seconds into this game demo to learn that this feature will defiantly be very helpful. Target one or multiple targets/objects and take them out in one swift motion.
There is also the new ability to interrogate other characters. You can use your environment to assist you in “persuading” your enemy to talk. Sometimes a good face to the urinal can really loosen the jaw. Literally.
Not sure if it’s your kind of game? Check out the demo before shelling out your cash in April.
