Escalation Preview

We’ve heard all about it, and now it’s finally time to get a look at the new maps we’ll be playing on next month. Treyarch of course is still being¬†relatively¬†guarded about the secrets of the next zombie map. But we will uncover those secrets soon enough on May 3rd.

Kill some zombies this President’s Day Weekend

If you are one of those gamers that rushes home and jumps right into online MP for a game, you may have missed one or two highly amusing Easter Eggs of Call of Duty Black Ops.

SPOILER (kind of but not really)

After completing the SP campaign of Black Ops you are immediately¬†dropped into the shoes of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Pretty cool right? You, as the gunslinging Kennedy must survive waves of zombies in the map dubbed “Five”. This weekend the nice peeps over at Treyarch have unlocked the map for all to play!

They have also unlocked the Dead Ops Arcade. For those living under rocks Dead Ops is a top down zombie mode with the same basic idea as regular zombie mode. Stay alive as long as possible.

Both of these awesome modes will be unlocked to play for the weekend. After that you will have to unlock them yourself.

I’m just going to leave this link right HERE.

Go kill some zombies!

Gknova6 gets another update

They don’t give us much to work with but has been update again. A small countdown followed by the above image(which to me looks like a monkey) pops up after entering through the age gate. It bares a resemblence to Leonardo da Vinci’s “Vitruvian Man

Vitruvian Man

It is obviously a hint about the upcoming new zombie map, Ascension, which will be included in the “First Strike” map pack in February. But what does this mean.

Good old Wikipedia has a few things that might help with figuring out this puzzle. As it could have something to do with the location.

Or it could take a religious path and have something to do with Christ’s ascension to Heaven. That might be a long shot though as I could see it causing controversy.

Thoughts? Ideas? Predictions?
