In case you haven’t heard Call of Duty Black Ops will be having it’s second double XP weekend in honor of the First Strike Map Pack coming it PS3.
This time around the Xbox 360 users will get a chance to play the “Nuketown 24/7” playlist. I can’t say I will partake in that since I loathe Nuketown with every fiber of my being, but I know many are excited to get in on that action.
So sit back, pwn noObs, and get some x2 XP!

If you are one of those gamers that rushes home and jumps right into online MP for a game, you may have missed one or two highly amusing Easter Eggs of Call of Duty Black Ops.
SPOILER (kind of but not really)
After completing the SP campaign of Black Ops you are immediately dropped into the shoes of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy. Pretty cool right? You, as the gunslinging Kennedy must survive waves of zombies in the map dubbed “Five”. This weekend the nice peeps over at Treyarch have unlocked the map for all to play!
They have also unlocked the Dead Ops Arcade. For those living under rocks Dead Ops is a top down zombie mode with the same basic idea as regular zombie mode. Stay alive as long as possible.
Both of these awesome modes will be unlocked to play for the weekend. After that you will have to unlock them yourself.

Treyarch is back for more! The team from Treyarch will be back on Xbox LIVE to play their game, Call of Duty: Black Ops, with Xbox LIVE Gold Members in a special Game with Developers event. Join usTuesday, February 8, from 4-8 PM ET, and take on the team that made the game.
Don’t forget that the First Strike game add-on for Call of Duty: Black Ops is now available for download. Treyarch will be trying out some of the five new maps included in First Strike, so be sure to download the game add-on before the event.
Attempt to beat the developers at their own game tonight on Xbox LIVE. Personally I’ve never done the whole “game with developers” thing. But I do like the concept. It’s a great way to get the community involved with the guys and gals behind the creation of your favorite games.
