October is flooded with releases

Are you ready (to go broke)? Seriously though, there are quite a few big name releases dropping this month. Besides the fact that it will hit your wallet hard some of the games are ones that will have you glued to your console for some time.

I’ll highlight the big names for this month…

Release Date: Oct. 12th

I’m undecided about this game. Which is somewhat strange due to the fact that I’m usually all about FPS. I’ve heard mixes reviews about it steaming from the media and it’s beta back in June/July.  But while I didn’t play it, I never judge a game by its beta. Because that’s what it is, a beta. Anyways I see myself picking this game up only because, well I am a sucker for FPS.

Release Date: October 19th

Probably the October release I am most excited for. Fallout 3 was so engaging and enjoyable, not to mention the fact that it took over my life. I am so pumped for the new wasteland with a Vegas twist.

Release Date: October 26th

Another game that will steal hours of my life. I loved Fable II. Whether I was blacksmithing or completing important quests I was having a great time. I look forward in this next installment to see some improvements especially in the MP.

Other Major Releases…

Super Scribblenauts 10/12

Rock Band 3 10/26

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II 10/26

The Sims 3 (console) 10/26

~~

So which game are you most excited for this busy gaming month?

It’s still alive

Remember back in March when I totally lost it with the reveal of GameCrush.com? Due to the flood of curious people the site crashed after about 10 minutes and has since been a closed beta. Today GameCrush launched again and so did my epic rage against it.

Both guys and girls can get involved as playdates, and the idea is to create an entertaining atmosphere where gamers can get together and play. Seriously, try out the service before you bash it. I have seen some amazing professional gamergirls who have registered for the site, who are absolutely going to destroy their competition. -Brent Bucci

A little something a rep from gamecrush in response to my previous outburst. You can tell me over and over that the site is to, what was it? “Create an entertaining environment” but you’re full of crap. The site is a virtual street corner for men and women to “get together” and “play games”. *cough* prostitution *cough*

The site has been redesigned for what GameCrush hopes will be a more user-friendly experience. While users could previously look for “flirty” or “dirty” game sessions, now four zones have been created. The Arcade is for relaxed, casual sessions. The Arena is for people looking for serious competition. The Academy is a place where you can learn tips and tricks from PlayDates. The Edge is for Players who might be looking for something a little risque.

Ok so you’ve put nice clean names to your gaming zones. Still looks like your “PlayDates” are focused on the “flirty” and the “dirty”. And let’s not forget about the money factor. You have to pay to play with these people! Freakin make friends like a normal gamer!! It’s cheaper. Or go out to a bar and find a real life woman. OMG that sounds scary doesn’t it? Get over it. In the real world normal people have physical relationships with REAL LIVE people. Scumbags pay for sex or virtual companions.
